An unserer Geschichts- und Gesellschaftswissenschaftlichen Fakultät an der Professur für Geschichte Lateinamerikas in globaler Perspektive ist zum 15.09.2026 eine Teilzeitstelle (75%) als

Koordinator (m/w/d)

befristet für die Dauer von zunächst 3 Jahren zu besetzen. Eine anschließende Weiterbeschäftigung wird angestrebt. Dienstort ist Eichstätt. Die Bezahlung erfolgt im Rahmen des privatrechtlichen Arbeitsverhältnisses bei gegebenen tariflichen Voraussetzungen nach Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L. Es besteht ein attraktives Arbeitsfeld mit Promotionsmöglichkeit. 

Ihre Aufgaben

Koordination Master Conflict, Memory and Peace

  • alle Koordinationsaufgaben in Verbindung mit dem Master-Studiengang „Conflict, Memory and Peace“
  • Betreuung von Studierenden und Kontakt mit den am Studiengang beteiligten Lehrenden
  • Kontaktpflege mit der kolumbianischen Partneruniversität
  • Unterstützung der Leitung bei der Studiengangentwicklung
  • Lehre im Umfang von 2,5 SWS

Koordination Bachelor Lateinamerikastudien

  • akademische Verwaltungs- und Organisationsaufgaben im Rahmen der Koordinierung des BA Lateinamerikastudien
  • Kommunikation mit Partneruniversitäten zur Internationalisierung des Studiengangs
  • Lehre im Umfang von 1,25 SWS

Ihr Profil

Koordination Master Conflict, Memory and Peace

  • Masterabschluss (bzw. gleichwertiger Abschluss) oder Promotion mit sozialwissenschaftlichem Schwerpunkt (vorzugsweise Soziologie)
  • sehr gute Spanisch-, Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse
  • Kenntnisse zu lateinamerikanischen Universitätskulturen
  • Kenntnisse zur einschlägigen Forschung über Lateinamerika
  • Bereitschaft zur interdisziplinären Zusammenarbeit
  • Organisationstalent und Selbstständiges Arbeiten
  • Teamfähigkeit

Koordination Bachelor Lateinamerikastudien

  • überdurchschnittlich abgeschlossenes Bachelor- und Masterstudium in einer Geistes- oder Sozialwissenschaft
  • sehr gute Spanisch- und/oder Portugiesischkenntnisse; sehr gute Englischkenntnisse
  • einschlägiges Interesse an und (wissenschaftliche) Kenntnisse zu Lateinamerika
  • Bereitschaft zu Dienstreisen im In- und Ausland
  • Fähigkeit zu Selbstmotivation, Offenheit für interdisziplinäres Arbeiten sowie hohe kommunikative Kompetenz und Teamfähigkeit

Provided that the requirements are met, remuneration in the private-law employment relationship will be according to the pay grade E 13 TV-L. This is an attractive position with the opportunity to pursue a doctoral degree.

Your tasks

Coordination of Master’s degree program in Conflict, Memory and Peace

  • all coordination tasks related to the Master’s program in “Conflict, Memory, and Peace”
  • Support for students and communication with the lecturers involved in the program
  • Maintaining contact with our partner university in Colombia
  • Supporting the administration in program development tasks
  • Teaching worth 2.5 semester hours per week (SWS)

Coordination of Bachelor’s degree program in Latin American Studies

  • Academic administrative and organizational tasks related to the coordination of the Bachelor's program in Latin American Studies
  • Communication with partner universities regarding the internationalization of the degree program
  • Teaching worth 1.25 semester hours per week (SWS)

Your profile

Coordination of Master’s degree program in Conflict, Memory and Peace

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) or doctoral degree with a focus on social sciences (preferably sociology)
  • Excellent knowledge of Spanish, English, and German
  • Knowledge of Latin American university cultures
  • Knowledge of relevant research on Latin America
  • Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a team

Coordination of Bachelor’s degree program in Latin American Studies

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the humanities or social sciences, completed with above-average grades
  • Very good knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese; very good knowledge of English
  • Relevant interest in and (scientific) knowledge of Latin America
  • Willingness to travel for work both domestically and internationally
  • Ability to self-motivate, openness for interdisciplinary work as well as high communicative competence and ability to work in a team
